This page houses everything our hockey coaches need to know, and obtain, prior to coaching with The Rinks & Great Park Ice and FivePoint Arena. Each requirement is critical for the safety and compliance of both coaches and players, governed by both our organization and USA Hockey. The standards represented by each of the requirements reflect our strong commitment to the mission and values of our youth hockey programs and helps ensure the most positive and fun experience for all participants. Coaches Requirements
- The Rinks & Great Park Ice Hockey Coach Registration
- USA Hockey Membership
- Must be renewed annually
- USA Hockey Background Screening
- Must be renewed every two years
- SafeSport Training
- Must be renewed annually
- Concussion Training
- Must be completed once
- USA Hockey Age Specific Modules
- Required for all coaches for each age level
- Each individual's module requirement(s) depend upon the level they are coaching
- USA Hockey Coaching Education Program (CEP)
- Required for all coaches
